It's Esprit 40 celebration year, Esprit began in 1968 and it's down to a genuine love store of Susie Russell and Doug Tompkins. Doug was a hitchhiker who Susie picked up while travelling along the Californian coast. They fell in love got married and soon afterwards founded Esprit. It's a true story with a beautiful beginning and it's why we're able to look back on 40 years of Esprit history today! Esprit is located on the 5th floor in the Chatswood Westfield - the fashion floor, located next to Country Road and other significant fashion retailers. Our primary customers are women, aged 25-35 years, we also have a range called edc which is a little more fashion forward and attracts the younger woman aged 17 - 28 years, our men's range attracts guys aged 25-35 years and our kids range caters for new borns up to 14 years, we also have accessories for all these different markets. All these different divisions clarify why we name refer to Esprit as a casual lifestyle brand.
