Paul Strange and crew knew they had to impress after a few issues last year with ticketing.
In short, they did and blew everyone else out of the water on NYD. Space not only had some of the most suited DJ's to the festival format this summer but delivered on production and facilities for their punters. Darren Emerson, Dave Seaman in the main arena and Sebastian Leger and Ralph Lawson in the Coach Bay really set their stages ablaze in the early part of the festival. All above played some of the most outrageous house/prog/tech house and techno Sydney has heard in years to the delight of fans in the summer sun. Carl Cox and Francios K in Munky's opinion were the highlight sets of the day and did not disappoint. Proper festival layout (with room to move), bar layouts, transport options and water fountains also made Space Ibiza Festival our #1 pick for NYD fun in the sun. |
