and funky dynamic start-up based on a fahion-trending digital social platform looking for trend sourcers and reporters with strong experience in corporate relationship management, sales and product management. Additional bonus is experience in the fashion and/or event industry. In this position, you’ll be able to leverage your product and trend experience in defining and creating experiences for our consumers and small business advertisers. You will be working directly with senior leadership in defining what product strategy best serves the needs of these audiences, while leading a cross-functional team in implementing these product offerings. You will need to be at the forefront of trends, events and generally have one ear to the ground at all times. Responsibilities * Work with senior leadership to define product strategy, roadmap, and milestones * Lead cross-functional team in overall project management, release planning and agile product development process * Use analytics to test efficacy of – and improve upon - launched product initiatives * Convert user feedback into actionable product enhancements * Develop and cultivate leads for editorial features using a variety of online and offline sources * Set up phone meetings with qualified prospects * Assess potential business deals, negotiate favorable terms and acquire prospective commitment * Manage relationships with established clients and construct proposals and contracts within selling guidelines * Communicate ongoing contact and sales activities * Provide documentation on new client acquisitions to the operations team * Meet individual quarterly and annual sales goals * Demonstrate top-notch communication and presentation skills with the ability to sell at all decision-making levels * Strategically and creatively think in a fast-paced environment * Possess ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity to meet deadlines Requirements * Demonstrated success in defining and launching consumer products *Demonstrate a strong knowledge of trends and ability to identify and source relevant products * Knowledge of the social media space, including experience using social media product offerings * Ability to work on multiple projects with varying deadlines Compensation * To be determined based on final role outline * Commensurate with experience * Opportunity to work with committed, talented people who want to win!
