If you don’t know by now, the most recognized dj with trademark samples in any of the megamixes or bootlegs "DJ ZANNON" has taken over the scene.
For the past 10 years Zannon has developed the ability to build one of the most respected Dj careers in Sydney. From the age of 14, the idea of being of a dj and creating a new and unique style has been Zannon’s mission.
Creating MEGAMIXES and BOOTLEGS, using acapellas, a mixture of new and old songs and building a new sound to what already exists.
He has built a network of friends and fans through the years through MySpace music and the clubs from all over Australia being in the top 5 MySpace electro charts for the last 2 years and having played at nearly every club in Sydney WITH OVER 1.5 MILLION VIEWS AND OVER 500 THOUSAND PLAYS ON MYSPACE.
Zannon has supported nearly every big name and local dj from around the world and at exclusive events such as FUTURE MUSIC, FREEDOM FESTIVAL, LARA BINGLES AND MICHAEL CLARKS ENGAGMENT, ID FESTIVAL, TWILIGHT, LAWN PARTIES, SCHOOLIES FESTIVALS and many more.
In the last 7 years ZANNON has toured international, locally, interstate and regional to such places as Mackay, Surfers Paradise, Central Coast, Cairns , Penrith , all around Sydney and South Africa, South Pacific and West Hollywood/ LA.
The style Zannon has to offer has been structured over the years to entertain and keep the crowd satisfied. A selection of Electro, Rnb, Baltimore and mash ups, he is known to be the ‘MEGAMIX KING’ – Julian (ID U18s FESTIVAL/ iD Entertainment)
Zannon is also the face of the promotional company and event ‘NUDE’ that has taken over Sydney . Running some of the biggest nights including Fluffy and DIRTY! featuring foam parties, mini indoor festivals the best DJs in OZ!

In less than 30 words, how would you describe your music?

A big fruit salad of banging commercial new and old songs mashed and remixed and a “Deeejay Zannon” sample added to it.

Who are your musical idols and inspirations?

Michael Jackson. I also think Timmy Trumpet is an amazing musician and performer. I get inspired by all artists and djs that work really hard to make it in the industry.

Favourite club to do a set and why?

I love my residency gigs, Carmens and Greenwood. They let me test the water with new music and I get to meet and party with thousands of new faces every week!

Favourite gig you've played to date?

Lara Bingles and Michael Clarke’s Engagement Party at Luna Park. Amazing night and best experience ever!

We plan to break into your car - what can we expect to find in your CD player?

Currently I have my own new demo in there, I usually like driving to R’n’b though or if my girlfriends in the car we crank and sing along to Vanessa Carlton – a thousand miles (white chicks)

Your fool proof hangover cure?

I think pineapple juice and toast works, definitely some nurofen rapid! If this fails.. A big mac always hits the spot!

Is getting laid a big part of being a DJ?

Not for me. I am a dj because its my life and passion, the stereotype of a dj has been ruined by people that only start to get laid. They don’t usually last very long anyway.

One record you're embarrassed to admit you own?

Vengaboys Album (I still play Boom Boom as a joke)

The weirdest thing a fan has ever done?

At ID under 18s gig I went and said hi to fans and one girl lost it and started screaming and jumping around like I was one of the backstreet boys and got me to sign her arm.

One thing you're willing to confess to your fellow Munkys?

I’m a hip hop choreographer
