Catch Tenzin "rock da house" this Saturday at pure ivy. Part young buck, but 100% party hound, DJ Tenzin has carved himself out a niche as one of Sydney's most dynamic members of the club kids set.
Seamlessly blending everything from house/electro to grinding glitch-tech and party disco hop, Tenzin routinely smashes clubs back to their foundations before, like a nurturing architect, putting them back together brick-by-brick for his loyal fan base.
He can be regularly found spinning key sets at Sydney clubs  and is a regular traveller interstate and overseas where signature style has won him legions of fans, appreciative that no two Tenzin sets are ever alike.
You can find his productions being played in every corner of the world. He has topped the chart with multiple no 1's throughout the blogosphere. And has remixed tracks for Estelle & Kanye West, Kings Of Leon, Stafford Brothers Sneaky Sound System, Kaz James & Macy Gray, Emillia De Poret, M.I.A, Dr Dre.
But his talents aren't just heard across Sydney's finest dance floors….his talent of genre-morphing and as a party reader (like Preacher and the Bible, bitches!) has landed him the position as Music Director for all Australian Fashion Week shows.
So the kid is surrounded by models day and night, but does he let it go to his head? Nah, however he certainly knows his designer gear….
So if you haven't seen Tenzin play before, what can you expect? He'll read you and you'll need him. You'll fall under the spell of the only DJ who can claim to run the runway as well as dance the dance floor like no other.

My music is loud and seamless blend of almost everything from house/electro to grinding glitch-tech-party-disco-hop. (Otherwise known as 'The Tenzin Sound')

Who are your musical idols and inspirations?

Jimi Hendrix / Quincy Jones / Zack de la Rocha / Kurt cobain

Favourite club to do a set and why?

The bloody beetroots side show @ home night club this year. I have never seen such a crazy atmosphere in a club before. Then about half way through my set the power went out and the whole place started chanting my name in unison. That doesn’t happen often

Favourite gig you've played to date?

Would have to be 'Beach Day Out' on Kuta Beach Bali

We plan to break into your car - what can we expect to find in your CD player?

At the moment you would find a recording from my old band recorded in 2001(been thinking about releasing it finally). Timmy Trumpets Pacha CD (love this mix). Any mixdown proofs from remixes I have done.

Your fool proof hangover cure?

3 Nurofen, some kind of bread based meal with coca cola. (If headache persists just take more nurofen)

Is getting laid a big part of being a DJ?

Not for me but I have heard of guys starting to dj to try and get some action. Good luck to em!

Sesame street song and its actually on vinyl.

The weirdest thing a fan has ever done?

Got my number some how & messaged & said her & all her friends wanted to come see me play & asked where I was playing. So I told her(bad move). She turns up by herself at about 2am and starts trying to sit behind me & hang out & try start conversation etc
