About me

Formally signed to Ajax’s Australian label “sweatitout” Redial has grown from a local whiz to an international touring sensation. With 2 EPs under his belt featuring his infamous 45 Overdrive single, which featured on the GHOST EP, Redial has won over thousands of fans both at home and abroad to secure his place as a one of the hottest producers in the Australian scene. 2010 has been nothing other than a step up, signing to Trashbags newborn label TUFFEMUP Records who has also signed DJ ANTENTION from Russia, Barretso from Chile, Kolt13 from France, local colleague duo Nadisko and also recently UGLY KIDS from Switzerland.
Redial has now shared the stage with a swagger of top, savvy electro producers including - Kavinsky, Felix Carte l, Danger, GRUM, Shadow Dancer, The Toxic Avenger, Teenage Bad Girl and Data to name a few. His resume for remixes is definatley not something to be overlooked, and it now boasts the likes of La Roux, Miike Snow, datA, The Proxy, Empire of the Sun and counting...

So damn Synth you will grow a Dirty Moustache, and a Keyboard Necktie.

Who are your musical idols and inspirations?

Barretso from Chile, he is also on our Label, but he is a Genius, More off the record Jonathon Davis and Kurt Kobain.

Favourite club to do a set and why?

Oxford Art Factory, or Fakeclub

Favourite gig you've played to date?

Area 51, with Cyberpunkers and Gtronic.

We plan to break into your car - what can we expect to find in your CD player?

I will make sure there is some pretty terrible music in there that will make you get out of my car…

Your fool proof hangover cure?

A Pretty well known cure, Keep Drinking.

Is getting laid a big part of being a DJ?

I wouldn’t know, im more of a Producer

The weirdest thing a fan has ever done?

Kissed my feet… It was a bit uncomfortable, not sure if I should try shake his hand afterwards? It’s a fairly awkward moment.

One thing you're willing to confess to your fellow Munkys?

Hmmm all my secrets are pretty bad, I should just keep them to myself.
