An exploding personality, recognised profoundly within the Sydney music scene as a rising star. With a fan base encompassing Sydney and the Gold Coast- Brisbane region, and bookings for further interstate expansion into Perth W.A, the artist formally known as Even is a name growing in mention and stature. After 5 years dedicated to providing a musical experience to loyal friends and fans, 2010 marks Even’s growth into the arena of production and its live incorporation into his sets.

Born and raised in the Northern Suburbs of Sydney, Even began his career in 2006 playing at well known venues; Good bar ( now known as Eleven ) and Havana Club Deluxe. As his prowess within the music scene grew, 2007 marked Even being a regular feature at venues that valued his North Shore following.

As well as residencies with well known club brands Onelove and Famous. In the twilight of 2007 Even formed an alliance with the underground brand Kink and commercial entertainment group Seasons, supporting numerous international calibre artists, and cemented his residency with the popular boat cruise host Dirty Funken Beats.

2010 marks the growth of Evens career into production and live performance. With bookings into 2011 with his Seasons residency seeing an expansion into further interstate conquests.

In less than 30 words, how would you describe your music?

I would describe my music as strong but catchy. I love incorporating cruisy vocals with thudding beats and try to keep it fairly quick live when mixing to keep everyone on their toes.

Who are your musical idols and inspirations?

My musical idols definitely stem from hip hop music. Im into artists like Eminem and Notorious BIG but recently electronic wise I think Kid Cudi has been killing it. Other dudes that inspire me would have to be Swedish House Mafia and Afrojack- All the way.

Favourite club to do a set and why?

I like playing at Tank Nightclub the most because all I ever want is a massive venue with a massive system to match!

Favourite gig you've played to date?

Future Music Festival Sydney this year. Couldn’t have asked for more, the crowd was rocking.

We plan to break into your car - what can we expect to find in your CD player?

CD’s and drunk kids.

Your fool proof hangover cure?

Smash a big brekky then a swim at the beach.

Is getting laid a big part of being a DJ?

I don’t think it’s as big a part as what everyone makes out to be. After all, isn’t everyone is a DJ?!

The weirdest thing a fan has ever done?

Drunk girls getting a little bit naked at my gigs is always fun.
