Making their names synonymous with violent head bangers
amongst underground electro scenes throughout Europe and Australia, Melbourne
based TRUMPDISCO are for lack of a better word, electrofuckbashing their way
through endless parties, the world over.
Having given the South East Coast of Asia, New Zealand & all of Australia
an absolute deflowering, they have signed their summer away to give the best of
Europe its turn in 2011
Their first official EP on Melbourne label COMMON TROLLS’ will be released in
September 2010..

Already having love from the BLOODY BEETROOTS, KISSY SELLOUT on his UK Radio 1
show, remix attention from TOMMIE SUNSHINES label ‘Brooklyn Fire’ + countless
remixes for the likes of RAMMSTEIN, HAEZER, PHOENIX, YOLANDA BE COOL, SHUNDA K,
THE GREENSKEEPERS plus too many more… they are truly toeing the tipping point.

In less than 30 words, how would you describe your music?

A combination of the hoards of Mordor, road works, a high-school jazz band and a tone-deaf busker with an electronic kick drum under it.

Noisia, Proxy, Mr Oizo, Bloody Beetroots, Aphex Twin, Autechre, Jonny Greenwood, Sigur Ros, Pavement, Dirty Three, Biggie, Flying Lotus, Sebastian, Justice, Sufjan Stevens, Yo La Tengo, Winslow

Favourite club to do a set and why?

The Oxford Art Factory because it has a great set up and it’s the only place we’ve played up there

Favourite gig you've played to date?

Probably at Monastery nightclub in Brisbane during our EP tour. People were literally hanging off the ceiling and shit

Heaps of white sheets and tanning lotion

Joe - Once tried to jump over a rubbish bin while pissed. Fell into a window. Now I have a vagina on my back. Alex – Had an operation on the tube leading to one of my testicles.
